Over the past semester, the HOTS program has undertaken a special research project to mark the centennial of Iowa State University's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Graduate students in the program put together a special display for VEISHEA in Coover Hall, featuring posters with text and photos about the department's 100 years, two sets of artifact exhibits of old electrical and computer equipment, and a Powerpoint slide show of old photos and an interactive quiz about the department.

Pictured from the left, Kaya Tolon, Jason Chrystal, Cynthia Bennett, professor Amy Bix, Larissa Pires, Gary Cameron and Madhumita Saha. Not pictured is Michael Severs.

The HOTS program celebrates its 25th anniversary with a new book - Engineering in a Land-Grant Context.
